It's probably a sticker

There are so many beautiful wild flowers blooming down here right now. The problem is that most of them are very thorny. Mesquite trees are covered in thorns that burn for hours if you get poked by one. The plant with the pretty purple ball flowers that runs along the ground is so pokey that if you pull it up with gloves on, you can barely get it off of your gloves. Fun, fun. Denim calls them all "ouee gickers."

Cactus covers acres of land down here. The neighbor wants to make prickly pear jelly.

thistles

A plant I hate as bad as goat heads. It's worse than Velcro and the thorns burn for a long time.

This one has thorns like a rose bush.

Cone flowers. They're not thorny!!

Baby mesquite tree. Pretty but evil. They are very thorny until they get bigger.

Another thistle type.

Texas bind weed. This one isn't thorny either, just cute and pretty.
