If you aren't proud of Texas, you shouldn't live here. That's the general attitude and I think I really like it. All of the kids down here wear Texas shirts, at EVERY public event there are at least a dozen people wearing shirts that are actually the state flag. Heck, this state even has it's own pledge and they say it at every event. How cool is that? This is a picture of a waffle that I got at the continental breakfast when we were looking at houses. The waffle iron actually was shaped like the state. I've seen a Colorado waffle (that's an easy one.) But have you ever seen, say a California waffle? Or a Florida waffle? I was laughing and people made fun of me when I took a picture of my waffle but it was a sign of things to come. And we're very quickly becoming proud Texans like the rest of them.

Be very careful of the cult. You soon will be a member...it happens to all who live there!
