Classroom Projects

Yesterday Dan, Breanna, Denim and I went to the boys' classrooms and did a Christmas Countdown project with the kids. I found small portion cups and lids on the internet (what would we do without it?) and hot glued the cups to a folder in the shape of a tree. Then we put candy in each cup and the put the lids on them. Every day the kids pull out a piece of candy to see how many days are left until Christmas. I think that they turned out very cute. Even gluing 1000 little cups onto paper wasn't as bad as I was afraid it would be. Thank goodness that I have a husband that will play along and help me with whatever crazy idea I have going on that day.

Looks like a lot more fun than I did with my kids, we just made a chain with scripures on it so that we could read a story of Christ's life everday for 25 days. Chloe wants an Advent calendar, I might steal your idea :)
