Fall Family Cub Camp

A couple of weekends ago was fall family camp for the cub scouts. Dan was at work so the kids and I loaded up and went camping. Just for fun, we took and extra kid, just to test my sanity.
We had a good time and experienced 40 degree nights and 80 degree days and dew so thick, it felt like it rained. (there is still a tent pitched in my back yard, drying out) That's on my to do list for this afternoon, but it's been there for about 3 days now. :o) Life just seems to get in the way of those to do lists sometimes. Sorry these pictures are in such a random order, I've been having problems moving stuff so I just gave up, you'll have to wade through them.

Some of our pack members, getting ready to break camp.
There were little tents everywhere.

Denim enjoying the hamburger helper. It was either the best hamburger helper we've had for a long time or we were really hungry, but it was wonderful either way.

The boys enjoying their dinner. They downed about 2 1/2 gallons of hamburger helper. There were about 20 of us there to eat it.

Breanna trying her hand at the rope wall.

Paddle boating.

DJ shooting bb guns.

Dylan shooting the bb guns.

One of the coolest spiders I've ever seen. It sat there and let us take its picture forever. That's my hand behind it to give you an idea of the size of it.

A line of little bums, waiting their turn to shoot the bb guns.

Decked out in class A's for the flag raising. Don't they look handsome?

Where the girls spent most of their time. That's my tent. There were more leaves and sticks and horse poop in that tent that night than I care to discuss but we survived.

Breanna making a fashion statement on the last morning. It was too cold to want to change clothes so she just came home like this.
If you ever want to test your fortitude, go camping with 5 children under the age of 9. Thank goodness there were friends there to help me through it. Kids had fun. I got sunburned.
