DJ an Dylan turned 9 this weekend. Wow, where did that go? For a wonderful surprise, my parents came down to spend the weekend with them.
DJ kept saying, "Wow, since you guys got here, I can't quit smiling!!"
Breanna was excited too.
Denim had MANY stories to tell Grandpa.
The boys with their birthday stuff. We got them some more stuff for a survival type kit. They are getting really good at starting fires with magnesium fire starters. Not real sure if that's good or bad yet. ;o)
We went out looking for fresh pecans to pick up. Had some luck but not fabulous luck. I think it's just a little early for the good nuts, or so we've been told.
Some things are worth bending over for.
We went to the Bonsai Garden japanese steak house for dinner. Both of the boys completely cleaned their plates which is A LOT of food. Then they came out with the big gong and drums and gave them each a piece of cheese cake.
The weekend over, headed out for the long drive and back to school. Had a good visit, hard to see them leave.
