We've tried to be good about doing family pictures every year at Christmas. Family picture day this year came twice!! We tried to just have one of my friends take a few pictures for us, but getting 4 kids and 2 adults to do exactly what they are supposed to, exactly when they're supposed to, is out of our realm of capabilities right now.
Most of them turned out something like this, actually, if Breanna had been in this one, it was one of my favorites of the kids. Catches the beauty of them being just who they are.
Looking back, I'm not sure exactly what was wrong with this one other than I look fat. I just know that neither Dan or I liked it so we hired someone who does this stuff for a living and got better results. ( I bought the digital rights to the photos so I can legally post them.)

All of us being good, you can't tell the kids were yelling "bananas" when she said to say "cheese"We had a good time and it was short and painless. Probably going to have to hire it done for a few years, too many too little kids. Worth it though.

I love the first one the best. Way to cute and funny. I've tried to get ours done atleast once a year at Christmas time too, mostly to send them out with Christmas cards, but I haven't been able to get in the mood this year. Maybe next year. My biggest thing I think is I haven't wanted to pay anyone to take them, but all of yours turned out really well. I love seeing others family pictures, thanks for sharing.
