Denim has changed a lot

Denim started K-4 at the private school we put the kids in. Since he started school he has changed SO much. He figured out that he could swim like a fish without a life jacket, he stopped wearing pull-ups to sleep, he moved out of Breanna's room and into Dylan's room all the way across the house, and he's learned how to ride his bike without the training wheels. It sure seems like he's just grown up overnight. Dan and I went to the school to eat lunch with him and he ran up to us excited to see us, then it dawned on him "Hey, school is not over!" He marched his little self back over to his class and sat down and said he was eating with his friends. Dan and I ate lunch with Breanna at the family table but Denim refused to sit with us. I'm so glad that he's happy at the school but he just doesn't seem to need me anymore. Crazy kid. He gets up when he's asked to in the morning and gets dressed in his school clothes and collects up his back pack and is out the door. Hope he still likes school this month by the time he's done. :o)
